Youth & Family Ministries

The goal of Youth and Family Ministry is to provide an environment in which youth can develop their relationships with Jesus Christ, develop healthy relationships with peers, and have fun in a safe, enriching environment.

God Squad Activities - God Squad activities are for youth in 3rd through 5th grade. We meet once a month during the school year for all kinds of fun activities and service projects. Sometimes family members are invited to join in the fun.

Jr. High Activities are for youth in 6th through 8th grade. We usually meet once a month during the school year for fellowship or service activities. Sometimes family members are invited to participate.

Sr. High Activities are for youth in 9th through 12th grade. We usually meet once a month during the school year for fellowship or service activities. Sometimes family members are invited to participate.

2009 SR. HIGH MISSION TRIP (for grades: entering 9 through current 12)

Logan, West Virginia - July 11-18, 2009  

High school youth traveled (in rented vans) to Logan, West Virginia to repair and paint houses and run a Kids Club. A meeting is scheduled for Aug 23, 2009 after service to begin talking about the next mission trip in the summer of 2010.

Trip Participants:
Matthew Buchanan, Marisa Erdmann, Scott & David Franke, Max Harty, Amy, Katie, & Nicole Larson, Danielle & Marissa Otto, Adam Schuk, Sammi Shaffer, and adult leaders – Jeff Larson and Staci Christenson.

On the trip to Logan, WV we visited a cave and went on a hike in Kentucky.

We made it. This is our group in Virginia.

One of our favorite down time activities was playing 4 square.

One evening a Blue Grass band played for us and we had a dance.

On the way to and from Logan, West Virginia we stayed at churches.  The youth groups of the churches planned activities with us.  These are three pictures of us at those churches.
