Guest House
1/26/2010 Request forSupport
Moneys allocated to Social Ministry have been severely reduced in order to balance the church budget. The needs of the poor and homeless, however, have not disappeared. I expect the members of Holy Trinity to give generously throughout the year to continue ministry at the Guest House, otherwise we may have to discontinue meals there. Please use the envelopes in the pews. Also, donations of boxes of individually packaged chips, applesauce, fruitcups, bottles of juice, koolaide, cans of soda are welcome,
Reaching out in Christian love to feed a hungry world.
Thanks! Cathy Dietrick
Every third and fourth Sunday of each month, members of Holy Trinity server supper to about 80 people at the Guest House, a shelter for homeless men. Members are needed to prepare food on Sunday morning or serve the supper and clean up afterwards. Volunteers leave church around 5:00pm and return about 7:00pm. Remember, sandwiches are made on the fourth Sunday of each month.
